2018 Ashley Inn Art Retreat...

...was a big success! 
The first weekend in August, I taught a group of 13 talented artists in Cascade, Idaho for three fun, art-filled days, where we painted & created morning til evening!  We learned new techniques, tried different compositions and colors, and used new media in our artwork.  It was a wonderful time to experiment with our art, all in a beautiful mountain environment.

Already planning new ideas for next year...

My New Steampunk Workshop is in "Gear"...

 A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of teaching a brand new, unusual workshop to a group of wonderful artists at the Museum of Idaho in Idaho Falls.  They currently have an exhibition about the world of Steampunk design, so I created a workshop to match!  

It was a fun 2-part workshop.  We had the chance to create Steampunk designs with mixed media, (gears, wires, antiqued collage papers, etc.) as well as with paint, stencils and other media.  

Wonderful job! They turned out so great!

Lovely, Radiant Reds!

A couple of weeks ago at The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho in Idaho Falls, I taught my "Radiant Reds" workshop to some talented ladies!  It's always so fun to see how different each artist's painting of the same picture comes out on watercolor paper.

Such lovely works of art.  Keep up the good work ladies!
